Weed Warrior workdays provide an opportunity for students to earn Student Service Learning (SSL) hours while removing invasive species from our community. Join members of the Green Team Natural Resources subgroup as they remove English Ivy, an invasive species, from trees at Belair Meadows. This event is generally for ages 16 and up. Those under 16 are not permitted to use large hand tools, and youth under 14 must be under the direct supervision of a parent throughout the event. These events are limited to 30 participants, so register today by emailing Email eoxenford@cityofbowie.org.
