Want to learn ways to preserve freshly grown food to enjoy in winter months? Come to City Hall on Saturday, November 15th at 10 a.m. for a presentation about different food preservation methods. The City of Bowie's Green Team will host two speakers from the University of Maryland Extension, Donna Koczaja and her husband. They will discuss how to preserve food by using canning, freezing, and drying methods. This event is free and open to the public.
