Earth Day Celebration

On Saturday, April 22, the Green Team will host an Earth Day Celebration and Movie Night at Allen Pond Park!

Bring your family and friends and come out and enjoy an evening with a variety of activities! The evening will start with a fishing demonstration for kids at 4:00 p.m., followed by a group walk, Zumba at 7pm, and the screening of Madagascar at 8pm.

While you aren't participating in one of those activities, you can visit one of the many resource tables. There will be a sunflower planting station, healthy sleep resources, how to make a sustainable and healthy lunch, electric lawn care information and more.

All attendees - children and adults - will have the opportunity to enter their name into a raffle to win a sustainable prize! Be sure to stay until the movie starts to see if you are the lucky winner.

Please contact Erin Oxenford (by email or at 301-809-3073) with any questions.
