Please bring your friends, neighbors, fellow Scouts, or congregation members to a cleanup site near you to help us rid Bowie of unsightly trash. If we don't get it, the next rain storm will carry it to the Patuxent River and the Chesapeake Bay. Locations will be finalized the first week or so in October so feel free to nominate a stream or community area near you. We ask volunteers to bring water and/or snacks, as desired, and to wear long sleeves, long pants, and sturdy boots or shoes that can get wet. We will provide bags and trash grabbers, and our City staff will be on-site to sign SSL forms for any Prince George's County public school student who joins us.
