The next session of our Citizens' Police Academy begins May 3, 2022. The Bowie Police Department's Citizens' Academy is a 13-week training course which allows participants to learn from police officers and other members of the criminal justice system through interactive classes and facilitated discussion. There will be a variety of topics covered, including but not limited to:

• Internal Investigations
• Tactical Training Technique
• Judgment Enhanced Training
• Citizen/Police Interaction
• Media Relations

Registration -  Session IX

Participants must complete an application in order to be considered and must be at least 18 years old.

Note: Participants are selected on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are not selected for the current session, you will be added to our notification list regarding future sessions.
