[ARCHIVED] Bowie PD Now Enrolling for the Citizens' Police Academy

The session's Citizen Police Academy is a 13-week training course which allows participants to learn from police officers and other members of the criminal justice system through interactive classes and facilitated discussion. There will be a variety of topics covered, including but not limited to:

  • Internal Investigations
  • Tactical Training Technique
  • Judgment Enhanced Training
  • Citizen/Police Interaction
  • Media Relations

Participants must complete an application in order to be considered and must be at least 18 years old.

Bowie Police Department Training Room (lower level of Bowie City Hall)
15901 Fred Robinson Way
Bowie, MD 20716

Dates/Time:
Tuesday evenings
(starting May 3 to July 26, 2022)
6 p.m. - 9 p.m.
