The City of Bowie, a designated Entitlement Community of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), is eligible for direct Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding.
HUD requires that the City develop a five-year plan based on the needs of the City, which includes input and recommendations from residents, neighborhood groups, businesses, developers, public and private sector service providers and stakeholders.
