Don’t miss Bowie’s annual hometown parade on Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. It is a celebration of our nation and a salute to those who serve and protect it. The parade steps off from the Belair Annex to Bowie High School at 11 a.m. and proceeds down Belair Drive, turns right on Sussex Lane, and then right again on Stonybrook Drive. The reviewing stand, bleachers, and vendors will be located at Acorn Hill Park, next to the Bowie Community Center. There will be marching bands, floats, entertainers, and a host of community groups.
Bring your chair and watch anywhere along the parade route or sit in the bleachers next to the reviewing stand at Acorn Hill Park. The park is on Stonybrook Drive, next to the Bowie Community Center.
