[ARCHIVED] Parking on A City Street During a Snow Event

We encourage residents to remove their vehicles from the City streets during a snow event where a significant amount of snow will fall. A snow emergency applies to any city street where the accumulation of snow or ice equals two (2) inches or more. All vehicles must be removed from a city street during a snow emergency. This applies to all streets but particularly the main drives and cul-de-sacs where it is important for the snow plows to clear the roads and turn around. It is during a snow emergency, the city encourages residents to park their vehicles in their driveway. You may also park the vehicle on your lawn but do not block the public sidewalk. Once the street has been plowed, you may park your vheicle on the street.
