This is the third of three Special Meetings being held for the purpose of interviewing applicants for the At-Large and District 3 Council vacancies. The City Council will open the meeting and then adjourn to a Closed Session to conduct the interviews. Due to the large number of applicants for the position, interviews will also take place at Special Meetings on Saturday, January 21 and Saturday, January 28. Following the conclusion of the interviews on January 30, Council will return to an Open Session to vote on which of the 26 applicants will be named to fill the At-Large Council seat vacated by the resignation of former Councilmember Ingrid Harrison and which of the 17 applicants will be named to fill the District 3 Council seat vacated by Adrian Boafo. Candidate interviews will be recorded and available for viewing on this website (www.cityofbowie.org/viewmeetings) on the day after the selection is made.
