Over the last few years, several Gold Award and Eagle Scout candidates have worked on environmental projects with City staff. Eagle Scouts have completed storm drain marking (see photo, right) and invasive plant removal projects. Recent Gold Award recipients have completed a painted rain barrel project and a rain garden project at Kenilworth Elementary.

Any interested Scout is encouraged to contact the City's Watershed Manager, Tiffany Wright, by email or phone (301-809-3043) at least one year in advance of the required project completion date to discuss possible projects.
