About
In 1995, a unique partnership of government and private organizations formed to establish the Bowie Center for the Performing Arts (BCPA).
The Bowie Center for the Performing Arts (BCPA) is a state-of-the-art, 800-seat theater that offers that offers a wide variety of entertainment specials, theater and concerts for Bowie, Maryland and the greater Prince George’s County. As the site of many high school events, concerts, musical productions, and more, the variety of programming at the BCPA reflects the diversity of the eclectic community in which we serve.
As a founding organization of BCPA, the City is entitled to a certain number of days at BCPA. The City of Bowie sponsors a grants program that offers qualified organizations a grant of a City day at the BCPA, when City days are not used for City-sponsored functions.
