The Bowie Police Department is once again accepting donations of NEW and UNWRAPPED toys at the following locations by December 9 in support of Toys for Tots. Look for the Toys for Tots donation bins at the following Bowie drop-off points:

Magic Elf Hunt!

12 p.m. – 4 PM, Belair Mansion
Alert! Alert! Elves are missing from the North Pole and Santa believes they are hiding at Belair Mansion…again! Santa needs your help! Come to Belair Mansion and become an official elf hunter. Help return those naughty elves to the North Pole in time for Christmas. Free. No reservations needed.

Senior Chorale Winter Concert “Sheer Joy”

2 p.m., Bowie Center for the Performing Arts
The Senior Chorale is back and getting ready to provide the JOY we all need. This year’s concert, enthusiastically directed by Craig Sparks, is literally “Sheer Joy”. Your spirit will be lifted by songs such as “How Can I Keep from Singing,” “Joyful, Joyful,” “O Come, All Ye Faithful,” and more. See you at the show! Tickets can be purchased online for $8 (plus a small service fee) at www.bowiecenter.org or at the BCPA box office (15200 Annapolis Road), open Tuesday – Friday, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., as well as two hours before the concert. A ticket booth will be set up at the Senior Center on Thursday, November 17, from 12:30 – 2:30 p.m.

Saturday Fun with Santa

10 a.m. - 12 p.m., City Gym
Come see Santa, enjoy crafts, and a fun Christmas environment at the Bowie Gym. No breakfast served.

Holiday Party

12:30 - 1:30 p.m., Bowie Senior Center
Enjoy DJ “C-Well” and share in some holiday games. Pre-register by Dec. 7. $5 residents/$6 nonresidents.

Saturday, December 17

Breakfast with Santa [EVENT IS FULL]

9 - 11 a.m., Bowie Senior Center
This event is back after a 2 year- hiatus and better than ever. Youngsters and the young at heart can visit with Santa, eat breakfast, make crafts, and watch a magician. Pre-register by December 2. This event is only open to 90 participants, so register now. Admission is $5, children 2 and under are free.

Reindeer Training Station

12 – 4 p.m., Belair Stables 
Did you know that Santa uses Belair Stable to train reindeer? Learn what it takes to be a North Pole reindeer. Free. No reservations needed.

Friday, December 30

Welcome 2023 – “Noon” Year’s Party

12:30 p.m., Bowie Senior Center
Put on your finest party outfit or come casual as we celebrate with entertainment, noisemakers, and light refreshments. Pre-registration fee $5 residents/$6 nonresidents.
