Free Workforce Training Program for Young Adults

The City of Bowie Office of Grant Development and Administration, in conjunction with Bowie Youth and Family Services, offers residents a free Workforce Development and Life Skills Training Program for youth and young adults between the ages of 15 and 25. The program will provide free workforce readiness training, which will include a portion on life skills and another on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) career paths. The program is offered annually in spring; please check back in early 2020 if you are interested in applying.

Eligibility Requirements to Enroll in the Program:

  1. Must be a resident of the City of Bowie 
  2. Be between the ages of 15 to 25 
  3. Have a desire to enroll in a four-week Workforce Development Training for job readiness, meeting weekly at Bowie City Hall.
