    Hospitalizations are down, cases are up a bit in the state. MD recommends testing after out of state travel or other potential exposure situations, even if you’re asymptomatic. July 2 case #s: Bowie: 1,099 (+1), PG: 18,731 (+86), and MD: 68,423 (+505). View the July 2 Daily Snapshot.
  2. City Offices Closed on Friday, July 3 for Independence Day Holiday

    City Offices will be closed Friday, July 3 in observance of Independence Day. There will be no refuse or recycling services on the holiday, but services will resume again on the next regularly scheduled day.
  3. Bulk Items Can Be Disposed of With Regular Trash

    Regular trash collection has returned. Bulk items may once again be set w/ trash on regular trash collection days. Large metal items are collected Wednesdays by appointment only. Schedule an appointment: 301-809-2344 or www.cityofbowie.org/servicerequest. Read on for more information.
