National Night Out Against Crime
We're ready to dive back into the fun at National Night Out 2021!
Join your Bowie neighbors and public safety friends on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at Allen Pond Park. We'll be hosting National Night Out against Crime (NNO) for Bowie, Maryland from 6-8 p.m.
This nation-wide "block party" enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. It's free fun for the whole family and a good night to get to know your neighbors! Enjoy music, food, games, displays, and more!

City of Bowie Facilities Are Open - Welcome Back!
- City Hall - The building is fully open for business and for scheduling conference rooms. City Council meetings are open to the public. 301-262-6200
- Parks - Picnic areas at Allen Pond and Whitemarsh Park are available for booking. Practices and competitions are permitted on ballfields (most require permits). 301-809-3002.
- Bowie Gym - All activities have resumed. This includes: walking, basketball, pickleball, and volleyball. 301-809-2388.
- Senior Center - Now open Mon. - Fri., 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Face masks and proof of vaccination required. Participants must call to register to use the center, 301-809-2300.
- Historic Properties - Buildings are open to the public on Fri. - Sun; hours are limited. Call 301-809-3089 or visit webpage for details. In-person events are being scheduled. 301-809-2388.
- Kenhill Center - The building is open to the public, to tenants and their guests, and to those needing meeting space 301-809-3011. Bowie Youth & Family Services and the Bowie Television Studio have resumed in-person services. The status of the Comcast payment office is still to be determined.
- Ice Arena - Reopens July 10. Offerings include open skating sessions, lessons, and summer camps. 301-809-3090
- Sunday Sunset Concerts - Resume July 11
* Visitors to City facilities are required to submit to temperature checks and will be asked about symptoms before entry. Masks are not be required, but unvaccinated persons are strongly encouraged to continue wearing masks (per federal, state, and county guidance).
