  2. Bowie Playhouse - "Musical Comedy Murders of 1940"

    The creative team responsible for a recent Broadway flop in which three chorus girls were murdered by the mysterious “Stage Door Slasher” assemble at a Westchester estate for a backer’s audition of their new show. The house is replete with sliding panels, secret passageways, and a German maid who is apparently four different people, all of which figure diabolically in the comic mayhem which follows when the infamous “Slasher” makes a reappearance and strikes again and again.

  1. Prince George's African American Museum & Cultural Center

    This is a special opportunity to learn and create all in one trip! After a guided tour of the museum we will create wooden memory boxes inspired by collage artist, Ulysses Marshall. Marshall’s memories in a box will offer an in-depth look into Ulysses Marshall’s work and teach participants a new method of interpreting their most valued memories. Bring your lunch to enjoy as an eating station will be available to you as well. Must bring at least one family photo! Bring collage accessories if you have them to go with a special memory but there will be some provided on site.
